New House
YEA!!! We finally closed on Friday...This was not as exciting of a day as I had hoped. The builder forgot to send some stuff over to the mortgage co. and there was a small discrepency in the total loan amt so we had to wait for 4.5 hrs. I was not happy but by that afternoon we had a sexy fridge, keys to a new house and a check from the title co. I will post picutres as soon as I can. We don't have internet access yet on at our new place so it may be awhile before I post again. Since we've gotten some work done painting and such this weekend...I LOVE IT!!! I hope everyone is doing well.

Oh how nice! I'm happy for you! So you guys flipped houses until you could afford to build your own? Is that how you did it?
We were thinking about doing something like that so we could afford to build something in Hawaii.
Caroline, We are still living in a suburb of St. Louis I'll post as soon as I can some pictures. Kim, we actually just renovated our old house and hated the neighborhood so much that we moved and did well on the house so now Mike is renovating full time for his job. We got a wonderful deal on our new house...the lot was free so it freed up money to get the house we wanted rather then just what we could afford...YEA for deals!
AWESOME on closing!! I know it is a bit anticlimactic isn't it? Ours was the same. But the feeling when we had those keys & walked into the house... wow. I am so happy for y'all. Keep us up to date somehow, I need to give you a call, I miss that fast talking voice of yours ;o)
