It's 98% official!

I went back to the OB today. I have weekly monitoring now, exciting I know. But good news is they looked again and the nurse was 98% sure that we're having a girl! Baby is still in a funky position and being difficult but she got a pretty good shot of, well, her and we are really excited! So now that wait is over.... not just to hoping I can make it to the middle of September and hit 30 weeks. If today was any indication, my body is going to try and make that a bit difficult and bed rest will probably be in the next week or two. I will be a stellar bed rest patient... can't wait.... :)

Great picture of the little fingers....

Yea they couldn't tell.... baby was curled up and didn't want to get out of it's comfy place. I'll be heading back the next two weeks for some follow up ultrasounds anyways so hopefully we'll see on one of those!

Michael Buble

So last weekend we got together with Ryan and Lacey to go to this awesome concert. We met for dinner which was a bit of a fiasco, Ryan and Lacey's babysitter was 30 min late, so we had to pick up the tickets at 7:25 at will call. They got to the restaurant at 6:30 after which the boys promptly left to get the tickets then come back and eat. Wellllll... Lacey and I ate without them (side note: if you live in STL go to Katie's Pizzeria, best gourmet pizza, vegan options and the most A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. toasted rav filled with spinach and gorgonzola cheese! YUM!!!!) we found out when they got there the tickets were not at will call... I should mention that a friend got us all FREE tickets! They guys ran back and got us and we sped to the Savis Center, Ryan and Mike eating in the car, then were lead by a guy who works with the opening act with his all access pass to the sound area on the floor.

Naturally 7

We sat with they sound guys during the Naturally 7 performance, if you haven't heard these guys you have to check them out. They were with Buble when we saw him 2 years ago and we love them! So since we didn't have tickets we couldn't leave the floor to go the bathroom or anything so a sound guy went and grabbed us some back stage passes. Needless to say the rest of the concert was awesome, we ended up by the stage singing and dancing for a few hrs. Lacey is 29 weeks pregnant and there were these, um...slightly intoxicated girls, talking, telling their stories of being pregnant when they saw him and how their kids love music... oh and one of the girls had caught a sweat towel from Buble and she was rubbing it on Lacey's belly for some kind of good luck or something. After the concert we walked around back stage and while we didn't get to meet Buble... we did get our picture taken with his 'closet'. :)

Michael's Closet

We had a great date that night and were so grateful for the free tickets, gift certificate for dinner and our babysitters even wanted to babysit for us for free so we could have some date nights before I end up on bed rest. It was fabulous!
