SO I love beautiful days. Yesterday was one of those. When Mike and I got home from church there was this man across the street replacing stolen yard signs for a man running for re-election. The guy across the street wanted to put one in our yard. Now for those of you that know the situation, we don't' get along with our neighbors and the city counsel man running for re-election...well we don't' like him either. So needless to say I was not going to put up a sign in my yard. But in the spirit of Sunday I talked...or rather listened to this man as he was trying to find out about our house and why we didn't get along with our fellow neighbors (I had politely mentioned it to him)....after about 30 min we started talking about my trees that need to be cut down. I was telling me that it's hard to sell a house with trees like that, I disagreed (again POLITELY) and every time I tried to speak he cut me off because whatever I was saying wasn't important enough to hear. I finally had enough and said "I will not be voting for Bob because you are not listening to a word I am saying and are not letting me get a work in edgewise. If you are the type of person representing him, then I will not vote for man that does not listen to the concerns or comments of the people he should be representing. SO good day." and I walked back into my home.
All of this story is important when I tell you I love beautiful days. Had it not been for the beautiful weather I would not have had the wonderful day I did after that incident. The sun was shinning and it makes all your worries go away. (If you don't believe me ask my sister who lived in Hawai'i, there wasn't much that a trip to the beach on a beautiful day couldn't cure!. I'm just so glad that we have a Heavenly Father who blesses us with such beautiful days to enjoy His creations!

Woohoo! Go Tracy! Those freaky people who don't let you get a word in edgewise... Well, it's different when I do it. And you know what, I think teh nice days here in Oregon have an even greater effect than in Hawaii because they're more special here. Friday and Saturday were so beautiful and just like in Seattle, when it's beautiful, everyone is much happier because it means we're getting through the dark daze of winter... But I am very glad you didn't let that silly man get you down.
I agree with the sister! I mean not listening when you are trying to convince someone of political intentions defeats the purpose of the intentions. Anyway, I am glad you had a beautiful day! Love YOU!!
