Brooklyn Rose Pulley

Brooklyn Rose
Born Aug 24th 4:57 pm
Passed Sept 4th 7:30 am

Brooklyn is in a much better place now and she will be preparing for us, when we will have our chance to raise her in a perfect world.
Thank you for all your prayers on behalf of our family.

Hello all, this is Mike...

At 3:30 am we received a call from Brooklyn's Doctor encouraging us to come in. Shortly after we arrived she decided to put in one last fight, two hours later her heart rate began to drop. We waited for my father to get there, and when he did we laid our hands upon her head to give her a name and a blessing. Through her blessing I realized how significant the plan of salvation is in each of our lives. We were blessed to have such a little and yet great piece of love given to us by our Father In Heaven. As we sealed the blessing upon her, her little heart beat its last beat, she went home to our Father In Heaven. We do not understand what the Lord's plan is, but we know that he loves us, he sends us little and big reminders each and every day, he gives us friends who offer up prayers on our behalf , he gave us our Savior Jesus Christ, who laid up his life for his friends, and gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we may return to our Father In Heaven's presence. We are grateful to be sealed as a family that will last through the eternities and we are grateful for such great friends who are so diligent at making our burdens light. Thank you all so much, may the Lord bless you.

We are so sorry for her passing! We have prayed that, if it be right, she might be allowed to stay and bring joy to you and your family. But we know the promises are great for these little ones who pass away - the ultimate joy is far greater than anything we can imagine now. Because of the great Atonement of Jesus Christ, these little ones are saved in the Father's kingdom, and she is yours, forever, worlds without end. We love you. Deborah and family

I was so touched to hear that her life ended with the hands of the Priesthood on her head. There's something very special about that. I can't imagine the pain you're feeling right now but since I can't be there to give you a hug I'll pray that you'll feel Heavenly Father's arms around you at this time. Love you Tracy,

Sheryl

Tracy-

I have been following your blog with Brooklyn and am sorry I am just now reaching out, although I have been thinking of you and praying for Brooklyn and your family. God Bless Brooklyn and all of you. I am sorry your time with her here was so short. Thanks to you and Mike for your great faith throughout the process - Mike's words helped me feel better. I hope I can do the same for you when you return to PRO. Until then, god bless.

I found your blog through Jeni and have been following along since Brooklyn was born. I have been where you are right now and words just don't say it right. Having lost my oldest has let me realize those greater blessings of later. The Atonement is real and to know that we have the knowledge that those children will be ours forever is so comforting. She got a free ticket to the celestial kingdom! I will still be praying that you will be comforted in this time.

Oh Tracy (Mike) I'm so sorry for your loss. It is very hard I know. When my sister was really sick before she passed we always felt that it would work out and that it would be all right. It doesn't, as you know, work out the way you want it to but Heavenly Father does know more than we do and He is there.
You may not feel it right now but you WILL be all right.

Dear Mike and Tracy,
My heart is broken for you. As I sit here weeping I think of the great love you have all shared in these last few days and know that you will be reunited again. Give extra hugs to Isabelle who will be so sad. I wish I could be there for you. I am here with Amy and the twins and having spent so much time in the NICU can relate to what you have gone through in fighting for her. I am not nearly as eloquent as the other commentors, but my heart is full of love and prayers for all of you. Love, Marjean

You walked with me,
Footprints in the sand
And helped me understand,
Where I'm going.

You walked with me,
When I was all alone
With so much unknown,
Along the way
Then I heard you say...

I promise you
I'm always there
When your heart is filled with sorrow And despair
I'll carry you
When you need a friend
You'll find my footprints in the sand.

Life is always too short. But it's amazing how much joy Brooklyn brought you...me... in the time she spent here.
While I did not have the pleasure of meeting her. She inspired me. She was definately a fighter...so I imagine she is really have a tough conversation with God right now!! She is probably tell Him to make sure that you will all be alright until the heavenly reunion. LOL oh spanky Brooklyn!
We stand by you in your sorrow and pray for the blessed day that you will be united.

Love
