why, why, why

Would it really be that hard for Heavenly Father to let just one good thing happen? Really, how many times can He help us get our hopes up just to let them crash back to the ground. I hate it when you really feel like you're doing everything you can to live your life correctly, trying so hard to listen and follow His plan and well...... NOTHING. I have no idea what else we can learn from all this, how many times we have to face the same crap and yet we're still supposed to be super happy go lucky... yeah it's crap. (not worries, I'm not losing my testimony, I'm just frustrated at life)

If you're not happy, you don't have to fake that you are. Everyone is normal in that every day is not a good one. Just remember the only real thing you can learn from this is what it means to endure to the end. ;) One day all will be understood and we'll feel silly for getting so mad. Just remember HE knows exactly how we feel. He understands our frustrations and as odd as it seems sometimes, he's the only one who knows exactly what we feel. He's felt it. Sometimes that the only comfort for those bad days! Love you!!

Sorry Tracy...sending hugs from AL. I've recently had those same thoughts, but try not to. You can do this...you can do hard things. Try prayers of gratitude, focus on what good is happening. I focus too much on what's not going my way. I know you know all this and want to vent. Too bad we can't going running together like we did back in the day and just talk it out.

sometimes life stinks really bad and i don't think we have to be happy about it at all. if i remember correctly, Brigham Young? or some general authority back in church history times wished he was dead rather than practice the plural marriage revelation that had come from the Lord. i'm not better than a prophet, so i get sad sometimes and i think it's ok. we're fortunate that we have a reason to eventually recover and be happy again..the Gospel!

I couldn't agree with that statement more!!! I feel like that a lot too and don't feel bad for feeling like that. I'm glad to know you feel like that too. I love you and you are a great person. You can always vent to me. I am a good listener! I wish you the best!

So totally been there, so I can say with a certainty that you are in desperate need of Bama love! Sometimes the whole eternal perspective thing just isn't good enough for the here and now of mortality, is it?
