Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!!!
Today has been so much fun, well really the whole weekend. Yesterday is the first Saturday Mike and I have both had off in months. We took Isabel to the zoo ( to try and find Alex, Melman, Marty and Gloria.. most were not out, we only saw Marty), had dinner at Wendy's and ran to Target to get Izzy some really, really cute church shoes. It may not sound like much to any of you reading this, but it was a fun day with my family. Today Mike made me breakfast, Isabel was so loving all morning and snuggled with me this morning and again this afternoon while falling asleep to The Prince of Egypt. There isn't much I love more about being a mom then when my daughter falls asleep with me. We're going to see Brooklyn later today, so I can have Mother's Day with both my girls.
There was a talk in church today by a young mom of 3 and she mentioned her daughter that was in the NICU, with tubes, monitors and everything and how she was scared but making promises to her. Of course it hit Mike and I. Last Sunday was even worse because of a baby blessing, we left because remembering her was just... well my heart ached. So all this week has been a Brooklyn week and I'm happy to finish it out visiting her again. Last Tuesday Isabel and I went to the store and bought some faux daisy's and a butterfly for her sister and for Family Home Evening we went and took them to her. Isabel told me later that she thinks her sister likes her flowers and that Jesus loves them!

I am so grateful to my mom for so many things she has taught me, to Mike's mom for raising such a wonderful man who I love and to my girls who make me love being their mother.

Happy Mother's day to all!

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day. Isabel is such a beautiful child and already she sees the wonder of her amazing mom. It shows in the pictures, in your stories and mostly in her love of Brooklyn & her faith. You are such an amazing woman Tracy. I am ever amazed by these sisters that I was blessed to have that may not be blood but are sisters nonetheless. Your abilities as multi tasker, creative homemaker, loving wife, pizza/calzone creator, caring mother and stupendous friend more than just things on a list. They are you. Thank you for being such a great influence on my life & thank your mom for me - she gave me a sister. :o)

I would LOVE a zoo, Wendy's, and Target day with the fam. We spent our weekend in the dark, trying to cut ourselves out of the drive. Yours sounds better. Glad you had a great mothers day. Your fabulous!

Happy Mother's Day!! I thought about you this weekend. I hope your visit with Brooklyn eased your aching heart a little bit. The assurances of a 3-year-old are no small thing, I'm sure. I've got to call you some time! Things are CRAZY. Crazy.

I am glad you had a great Mother's Day. I love having a day to just relax. I loved that talk given on Sunday too. What a blessing it is to be a Mother.
