I saw Dr Webb yesterday, my specialist, heres the main things he said~
1. He seems fairly confident that my next pregnancy will be full-term (or full term for me ---yes he said that!--- to 34 weeks)
2. He will not force me to have a c-section (although there is still a good chance, he will not rule it out)
3. He's going to put a cerclage on... that way I'll surely know when I try and dilate... insert major pain and bleeding
3. He's putting me on MAJOR antibiotics (and Mike) right before we get pregnant to try and lessen any bacteria lingering on my body or in my system, then milder ones at 10, 20, 30 weeks
4. He wants to see me all the time! (read weekly from 16 weeks on
5 He's starting my progesterone shots at 16 weeks
6. He's not ready to tell me that I have to be on bed rest, I might be able to just modify my routine my sitting down for a couple of hrs morning, afternoon and evening to keep everything under control.
Those are pretty much the highlights from my visit yesterday.
The fun part was afterwards my grad school roommate was up in St Louis and we went and have lunch then she came back to our house to hang out for a bit. Amy it was so great to see you!

Yay! That is a great update. Awesome that you have a specialist that cares enough to be there from day one with a plan, with a vision, and with backup :)
I hope that you and Cheyenne have a great time together! I love you & miss you! Cheer us to victory on Saturday! (game is at 2:30 p.m.) lol just to remind you :) Roll Tide
Oh wow - what great news! I'm glad that they are positive about everything, and well, with as positive as you are in general, you ought to have a pretty nice, long pregnancy next go around! Hurrah!
I'm glad you got some favorable news. My specialist and OB said opposite things, too. It's always good to have a second opinion. Isn't it amazing how much children touch our lives; we're willing to go through about anything to experience it (motherhood). I always said, when taking the heparin shots, that I would only do it to have a baby. If it was shots to be pretty and smart, I'd be dumb and ugly! You have a great and necessary attitude of never give up and I think that's awesome!! Sorry this is so long.
I like this doctor's schpeel better than the other doc. It sounds like he has a great plan of action for you. Have fun with Cheyenne! Love ya!
It was so great to see you! And I'm absolutely in love with the colors in your house. If I attempted something so bold, it would turn out looking like a crayola box that Elizabeth used for a diaper. Props to you.
good news! I'm glad the specialist has a good plan for you. Sounds like he's not taking any chances. yay for specialists! Miss you guys.
That's awesome news. I know you're feeling lots more confident.
