I do like Sugar

I am very proud of my Crimson Tide this year. Although we didn't get to beat Florida this year, it was a hard fought game. I am tired of seeing.. "Florida swamps the Tide" on headlines... it was not a blowout, it was very evenly matched until the last 5 minutes of the game. Stupid sports writers. I am glad to be at the Sugar Bowl where we have had some amazing games and we are playing another undefeated team. It should turn out to be a great game. However all those silly Utah fans... look out! Tides' coming!

Don't you thing that "the tide got rolled" is a better headline than "florida swamps tide"?

Not really Leslie because neither is true. The tide getting rolled implies that the game was a blow out which wasn't the case. 11 points does not a blow out make. AND the last 7 points were in the last 5 minutes of the game. So no the Tide got rolled really doesn't apply... better luck next time.

We too are bummed that the Tide didn't pull it off, but thought it was a very good game. Thankfully, Oklahoma doesn't have a chance against Florida. That brings me some consolation.

Thanks for that clarification Tracy (that was serious). I am glad that you and Mike never take anything I say at face value (that was very serious). I appreciate your thoughtful comments on my last blog post (that was serious), because I know you guys can never take a joke (that was teasing). You are certainly not who I was referring to in that post (very, very serious). I suppose that if you guys took everything I said at face value, we would not be the incredibly close- two peas in a pod buddies we are (serious?).
