Have you ever read Dr. Seuss's "Oh the Places You'll Go?" Well today I feel like I'm in The Waiting Place. I have a bunch of things to do today and instead I'm waiting for the Dish Network guy to come and install our service. While I'm grateful that I can have this luxery...can I have it on my time. I will say at least they are better then the phone company. I was told by them I would have to wait between 8 and 5...luckily they came at 8:30. The Dish man should be here between 12 and 5. Slightly better but I had to cancel plans for today to see some people that I haven't seen in a year.
Oh well...I 'll just stay in The Waiting Place

God bless you in that Waiting Place. There is nothing more aggrivating than home service repair/setups. Do not give me a 12-5 or 8-5 window. Do they think no one else really works or has things to do? that their product really IS the only & best option? I would love to sometimes let them know exactly what I think of their services, timelines, customer help, & pricing schemes! I feel for you today... hopefully everything will occur within the proper timeline & you will be able to move on rather than at the mercy of a little man, his truck, a dish, & cables. Oh, thanks for the comment on the murals. The only part I was unable to finish (that Nina is going to do for me) is the rest of the blue sky background up to the ceiling. I really had a wonderful time, and I hope the girls like it as much as they seemed to.
Maybe Dr. Seuss should have included that in his inspirational book.
"You can go on a plane,
you can go in the rain,
you can reach for the sky
you can wait for the cable guy"
Gosh, who loved their niece enough to get her that book?!
